As an EFT practitioner, autoimmune disorders can present some of the most difficult, yet most rewarding cases to help heal. In this short video, EFT master practitioner and instructor Deborah Lindsey offers insights and ideas on how to use tapping to help those who suffer from autoimmune disorders.
Hey, guys, it’s Deborah Lindsey with Online EFT Certification with some tips and tricks for EFT practitioners. So today I want to talk a little bit about autoimmune disorders. So here’s what I have found in my you know, now more than 17 years of practice is that whenever you’re dealing with autoimmune disorders, this person who’s sitting in front of you has done something for which they feel like they should be punished. Now, often it’s very subconscious.
They don’t even know what it is. But you ask them, you know, if you have ever done something that you really on some level think you should be punished for. And at first, they’re almost always going to say, no, no. But you have to remember that whatever it is is shrouded in shame. And it takes an awful lot of trust for them to be able to tell you what it is, if they even can identify it. So part of your work as a practitioner is to just keep your eyes open and your ears open until you hear the thing.
So, for instance, I was working with a client one time who had Lyme disease, and I asked her the question, you know, what did you do that was so terrible that you need to be punished? And she didn’t tell me, you know, she shouldn’t have any idea. And then it wasn’t until later that it was revealed that she had tremendous, tremendous guilt about having put her dog down. Right. So, you know, if you think about the nature of Lyme disease, Lyme disease is a disease from animals.
And so there was a direct correlation there between her guilt of having put the dog down and then contracting this disease where her body is attacking herself. So that’s just a little bit of a tip that you can start looking around with your clients who have autoimmune diseases to see if you can figure out what it is that they have so much guilt and so much shame around that they think they need to be punished. And if you can find that a lot of times you can find the underlying cause and you can get your patient better or help your patient to get better.
