The Emotional Freedom Techniques, also known as EFT or Tapping, is a powerful healing technique that involves tapping on specific energy points on the body while tuning into a specific issue to bring the body into a state of balance. In so doing, both physical and emotional pain is mitigated, often with incredible results. EFT is widely used for anxiety, depression, stress, PTSD, addictions, limiting beliefs, trauma, physical pain, bothersome memories, cravings, phobias, and so much more.
EFT certification is available to people from all walks of life including professional counselors and social workers, massage therapists, doctors, nurses, chiropractors, energy workers, and laypersons alike. Licensure is not required to get EFT certification. It can be used as a stand-alone profession, or as a complement to other professions and techniques.

My name is Deborah Lindsey. I am a professional EFT Master Practitioner and Certifying Trainer with more than 2 decades of experience in the field.
I started my journey as an EFT Tapping professional way back in 1999 when I learned Gold Standard EFT from Gary Craig, the master himself.
It all started in 1997 when I began experiencing anxiety. It started as an annoyance but eventually got so debilitating that I would find myself hiding under my desk in the fetal position at work.
All I can say is that I am so thankful to a man named Ken who turned me on to tapping! I can’t even imagine what my life would look like without it! Once I experienced the relief it provided, I was hooked! And I’m so grateful that I never had to go down the path of endless pills that plagues so many people.
Instead, I was able to address my issues for real. And when all was said and done, my life was profoundly changed. Before long, I was anxiety-free! I was so blown away by it that I decided to become a practitioner and later a trainer. It has become my life’s work.
Over the next 20 plus years, I have dedicated myself to helping others with this amazing technique. I opened my office in 2000 and sat down in front of clients on a daily basis for more than a decade. I had amazing results with thousands of clients on everything from sexual abuse to traumas to addictions to physical pain to limiting beliefs.
In 2002, I started to train others. Since then, I have trained and certified more than 5,000 people from 50 countries around the world.
For many years I taught the training in live weekend workshops. But over time it became clear that weekend workshops are just not enough training to really turn someone into a professional. You need more time! You simply can’t absorb and remember everything you need to know in a few days. Moreover, you don’t have the time to absorb the information and turn it into an actual skill set. So it became clear that online training is the way to go!
Once I took the course online, I never looked back! In fact, I no longer teach the training live because it is not fair to you as a student. Yes! It is designed to give you everything you need and prepares you to have the skillset, experience, and confidence to open a practice and begin taking clients on DAY 1 after graduation.
That depends completely on you. Some students take the course as a “full-time job” and complete it in as little as 3 weeks. Others go through the course more slowly. If you can devote approximately 4 hours per week, you can realistically complete the course in 12 weeks.
No. EFT is a stand-alone skill set. Anyone can go through the training and, if they successfully pass the course, can open an office and begin to earn a living as a professional. Many people who take the course are licensed professionals, but it is not required to practice.
No. The Emotional Freedom Techniques practitioners do not need to qualify for a license anywhere in the world.
Insurance can be beneficial but it is not a requirement to practice. Discounts on insurance are available through AEFTP for those who choose to carry it.
Yes. Students from more than 50 countries have completed this course and are practicing all over the world.
All of the practice hours are included inside of the training. In Level 1, you will be working exclusively on yourself. In Level 2, you will begin by tapping with other students via the online video chat technology of your choice (Skype, Zoom, etc). You will coordinate with other students via the private Facebook Group or through a forum inside the classroom. Finally, you will be tapping with clients in the community. In Level 3, you will be working extensively with 1 or 2 “life clients”. You will have two one-on-one live calls with Deborah as you go through this training.
While we train many professionals in these professions, we do not offer CE credits at this time.
Yes, we offer an optional Skills Coaching Program for people who want to work directly with a coach while going through the course. But mentoring is not a requirement of graduation.
Yes! We offer an optional program called The EFT Tapping Mentorship Program. This program gives you ongoing support even after graduation and provides marketing support, among other benefits. Benefits include live monthly group calls to discuss clients, marketing, etc. It is designed to help you constantly improve your skillset, give you a sense of community, and help you to build a wildly successful practice.
Yes! We are accredited by the Association of EFT Professionals (AEFTP). Everyone who graduates from the course is “fast-tracked” through this otherwise rigorous process to get certified by AEFTP.
Yes! Of course! The idea here is to make the program affordable to everyone who feels the call to be a practitioner and help others. While most programs take years to complete, require seemingly unlimited mentoring sessions, and ultimately cost thousands of dollars, this program is designed to be a realistic and affordable path to achieving your dreams and that includes offering affordable payment plans.
The course is all-inclusive. There are no additional or hidden fees. Once you sign up, you will have everything you need to get certified. There are no hidden fees. Optional programs are available, however. These include the EFT Tapping Mentorship Program or One-on-One Skills Coaching, but these are not required for graduation. Upon graduation, we highly recommend a professional membership in AEFTP (they are a separate organization).
