The 48 Essential Core Clinical EFT Techniques in which Certified EFT Practitioners are Trained
The Emotional Freedom Techniques is not just tapping. It is a wide variety of techniques that are used along with tapping to help glean maximum results with your clients. Perhaps, we should delineate between “techniques” and “teachings.”
When people talk about the “48 Essential Core Clinical EFT Techniques“, it is a bit of misrepresentation and can be quite confusing for people. That is because there aren’t “48 Tapping Techniques” in the true sense. While there are many core teachings, that people use to apply EFT, the list of EFT Techniques is much more limited.
Below, I have outlined what are generally considered to be “The 48 Clinical EFT Tapping Techniques” as outlined by the EFT Universe. You can see that at the Center for EFT Studies, we cover all but 2, which we have chosen not to cover because they are very rarely used and can be learned on YouTube in a few minutes for those who want to learn them.
While we do not cover these two topics, you can see that we do offer 76 additional teachings to help you learn EFT as a professional.

Core "Clinical EFT Techniques", Which are More Accurately Called Core Teachings
Below is a list of the “techniques” that people are generally referring to when they ask me if we cover “all 48 techniques,” plus the actual techniques listed above.
At the Center for EFT Studies, we cover all but two (#43 & 44 listed below) because these techniques are so rarely used in professional EFT tapping. Both techniques can easily be learned on YouTube for those who want to know them.
